YES. If you have already registered a domain name, you can use it with your Rocketship site. You can also register a new domain name to use with Rocketship.
To build and manage your site using Rocketship you will need to use one of the following web browsers: Internet Explorer 7 (Windows), Firefox 2 or newer (Windows, Mac, Linux), or Safari 2 or newer (Mac, Windows).
NO. Email is not included with Rocketship, however we recommend hosting your email using Google Apps for Your Domain. This is a really great email solution that is also easy to setup with Rocketship. Plus it's free.
We DO accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards. We DO NOT accept cash, checks, purchase orders, or send invoices to be paid later.
YES and NO. You can upgrade your account at any time. However, you may not always be able to downgrade unless you make changes to your site first. For instance, if your current plan gives you 3 users and you are using all of them, you will not be able to downgrade your account to a 1-user plan until you delete 2 users. The same goes for the number of pages, which content tools you're using, amount of storage space, and whether or not you're using a custom design or web address.
NO. Rocketship is only offered as a hosted service.
YES. In fact we encourage this. We think Rocketship is the easiest tool to use for building and managing a website—period, making it a perfect solution for you and your clients.
Rocketship has been built to support custom site designs and allow designers to easily integrate them using CSS. Since Rocketship generates all of the HTML code, all you have to do is create the images and your own style sheets. When you're ready, simply upload the images and CSS files under the "Site Design" tab and you're done!
